Sophomores, it's time to graduate!
Next week all 10Th grade students in the state of Ohio will be taking the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT). All students must pass every subject in the test in order to graduate from high school and receive their diploma. Monday is the Reading portion, Tuesday is Mathematics, Wednesday is Writing, Thursday is the Science, and they will end the week with the Social Studies. So this weekend should be filled with a lot of studying for those sophomores because this might be one of the most important tests of all.

Bordem is in the Forecast!
This weekend's schedule appears to be blank for norwood high school. Not one athletic, academic, or city event happening this weekend. The actual weather forecast is sunny skies and temperature reaching the 50's. So get out and enjoy the weekend.

Snow is Here!
The past few weeks the Greater Cincinnati area has been hit with massive snow storms. A total of 24.6 inches has been recorded so far this season which is a record itself. It seems to me like that's enough snow for one season but sadly it's not over. This weekend there is a chance that we will get 7 more inches of snow, and i say a chance because if it's not snow then it will be heavy rain. It may not sound like a big deal but if we get rain then, along with the melting snow, we will see serious flooding. Let's hope for the best and drive safe out there.

Blizzard!
This weekend is looking a little like Christmas, or at least it's going to. The weather channels are all saying that the Cincinnati area is supposed to get a hefty amount of snowfall. The Superintendent of Norwood City Schools(Robert Amodio) has already cancelled all school-related activities for the weekend. So as for whats going on this weekend, I'd say nothing but snow, snow, and more snow.

Hoop Filled Weekend!
This weekend is one for Norwood High School basketball. The boys team will face off against their Scarlet Division Rival; Ross High School. In the first meeting this year, our Indians defeated the Rams 61-57 in overtime. Now it's at Ross, but with a win the team will help them on their way to a conference title. The girl's team will be at home hosting the Mt. Healthy Lady Owls on Saturday. Norwood lost in the first match-up, 67-25. Good Luck to both teams.
